Toriko Anime Will End Next Month

It was recently confirmed by MantanWeb that the Toriko anime will be ending its run next month, after previous reports that Dragonball Kai will be returning to take over its time slot on April 6th. The anime originally started its run on April 30, 2011, and managed to air 150 episodes since. An anime short from Ufotable was also released in 2009, with a 3D feature via Toei Animation serving as a double bill with One Piece in 2011, followed by a full-length anime feature on the following year.

It was already confirmed in previous reports that the return of Dragonball Kai will tackle the Majin Buu story arc, with the original run only managing to reach the Cell Saga, and wasn’t even able to air its final episode due to the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
