Total Drama Revenge of the Island Returns

Total Drama Revenge of the Island Returns

This coming June 5, Tuesday, at exactly 7:30 PM ET/PT, Cartoon Network’s hit animated reality competition series Total Drama: Revenge of the Island will be making a comeback, and it will be bringing along all the rivalries, all the contention, all the money…and Chef that made it such a popular series in the past.

Produced by Cake Entertainment and Fresh TV, narcissistic host Chris McLean will be bringing the show back to the island, where all the drama began. Of course, there will be a brand new set of interesting characters who will take part in the reality show.

There will be a total of thirteen new players vying for the one million dollar prize: Athletic overachiever Lightning, wide eyed bubble boy Cameron, MPD-afflicted Mike, aggressive jock Jo, devious Scott, fame-monger Dakota, indie chick Zoey, compulsive liar Staci, strong silent genius B, fake tan and hairspray lover Anne Maria, moonchild Dawn, nice-guy gamer Sam and cadet Brick.

The new season will be the toughest ever, as Camp Wawanakwa has been abandoned and turned into a toxic nuclear waste dump while the previous season’s players were trotting around the globe. The new hazardous surroundings will certainly add to the difficulties, and of course there’s still the fact that one player can be voted off the island in every episode and hurled off the island via the Hurl of Shame. The only respite being an immunity statue (shaped in the likeness of host Chris) hidden somewhere on the island.

In support of Total Drama Revenge of the Island’s return, CartoonNetwork.com will feature a game based on the show, in which contestants will attempt to balance a portion of the Island’s mutant squirrel population on their bodies while standing on unstable structures and dodging meatballs being pelted at them by Chef. The game features 30+ levels of addictive play, and will launch on May 29.
