Fans of Gru and his cute, yellow-skinned minions should rejoice, as Universal Pictures has just released a brand-spanking new trailer for Illumination Entertainment’s Despicable Me 2, which is scheduled to arrive on the big screens on July 3 of this year. Directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, the sequel features Steve Carell reprising his role as Gru, alongside a whole other host of fabulous, famous voices such as Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, Al Pacino, Steve Coogan and Ken Jeong.

The first Despicable Me moovie made $540M worldwide last 2010, which is why it’s not surprising that Universal not only plans on a sequel, there’s also a spin off in the works, featuring the very popular Minions as the main characters. The Minions movie is slated for a December 2014 release, and will feature Sandra Bullock as the bad guy

Neil Raymundo

A cowardly and treacherous Toonbarn blogger who can transform into a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. Secretly wants to replace Toonbarn Rob as leader of the Decepticons.
