A brand-spanking new trailer has just been released for Capcom and WayForward’s upcoming HD remake of the classic NES platformer, DuckTales. Dubbed Ducktales Remastered, the game will recreate the iconic game (which is based on the equally iconic cartoon series with an equally iconic opening theme song) but will add all sorts of bells and whistles on top of a few shiny things.
The new trailer shows off what the snowy level looks like in proper HD, and features something new to the game: an aerial battle with Flintheart Glomgold. Maybe my memory’s gone rusty, but I don’t remember this being in the original (actually, I don’t remember reaching this far in the original. I just listened to the chiptune rendition of the theme song.)

DuckTales Remastered hits PlayStation Network, Wii U eShop, and PC first on August 13. An Xbox Live Arcade release will follow on September 11. All versions will be priced at $14.99.
