Transformers: The Last Knight International Trailer Released

The international trailer for the upcoming Transformers film (the fifth one at that, and possibly Michael Bay’s last) has just been released, showing off a bunch of footages from the movie that one can only describe as “full of explosions.” Because what else can you expect from a Bay film? There are a few key details that are revealed, though – first is that they refer to Grimlock by name now, thank god for that. Next is that Bumblebee now has the ability to reassemble himself. And most shocking of all – Optimus Prime is attacking Bumblebee. Is it mind control, the effects of dark energon (notice the purple eyes), or a very clever plot twist? It’s any one’s guess. We don’t have to wait long, fortunately, because Transformers: The Last Knight premieres on June 21.

If you can’t wait that long, you can watch the trailer below:

Official synopsis:

For centuries they defended our world, but on June 21 our alliance is over.

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.
