Treehouse adds Cleo & Cuquin
Corus Entertainment’s Canadian preschool net Treehouse TV is adding Cleo & Cuquin to its roster of programming. The CG-animated series from Anima Kitchent, will begin airing on the channel Friday, April 5th at 8:55AM, with an encore at 2:50PM. New episodes will air weekly.
Based on the Spanish Familia Telerín television series of the 1960s, Cleo & Cuquin will help its viewers find solutions for all kinds of small situations. At the end of every adventure, Cleo will know what she wants to be when she grows up—or at least for that day.
The Mexico-Spain 78×7 min. + 26 x 2min. co-produced series debuted in January 2018 on Clan in Spain, before rolling out on the Latin American Discovery Kids channels the following March. Nick Jr. premiered the series in the United States on January 22, 2018.
The property has landed a number of partnerships, including Mattel’s Fisher-Price as the worldwide master toy license, Penguin Random House for publishing, as well as educational kits from HITN.
Last month, Animaccord was appointed as Cleo & Cuquin’s master agent responsible for coordinating all licensing for related consumer products, traditional media, promotions, and digital content such as video, games, and apps.
