Twilight’s Kellan Lutz to Star in Mo-Cap Adaptation of Tarzan
The Hollywood Reporter has recently confirmed that Twilight star Kellan Lutz will lend his voice to the titular character in Constantin Film’s motion capture adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ literary classic, Tarzan. Other cast members include Spencer Locke (of Resident Evil), who will voice the king of the jungle’s love interest, Jane Porter.
The new Tarzan adaptation will be directed by Rienhard Kloos and Holger Tappe, and will have a slightly modernized take on the king of the jungle. In the mocap update, Tarzan’s parent are billionaire adventurers who are killed in an airplane crash, and the movie’s antagonist will be the CEO of Greystoke Energies, who is the man who took over the corporation after the demise of Tarzan’s parents. Jane Porter will be the daughter of an African guide who is passionate about the conservation of the jungle.
There are no release dates or additional cast member announcements yet, so fans of Kellan Lutz will have to stay put and wait for more announcements.
