ITV Studios Global Entertainment has recently secured the UK licensing rights for One Animation’s popular animated comedy series Oddbods, and the company will be looking for licensing partners for a wide range of Oddbods-related merchandise targeted towards kids and early teens starting in Q3 2016.
The Oddbods series, on the other hand, will air on the leading kids’ channel CITV via 5 minute shorts peppered throughout the network’s autumn 2015 schedule, followed by full length episodes in spring 2016.
For the uninitiated, the Oddbods focuses on the daily adventures of seven differently-colored characters with distinct personalities, with each episode containing relying on family friendly and wholesome slapstick comedy to entertain kids.
