If you’re as pumped about Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s Steam release as we are, you might want to head on over to its Steam page and bust out some dough because the glorious 1080p, 60 fps PC port of the Xbox 360/PS3 fighter is now ready for preorder.
The pre-order is gonna cost you around $24.99 USD, but since Steam employs regional pricing, you may end up getting it cheaper depending on your country (for instance, the game is only worth P679 if you’re from the Philippines. That translates to around $15 USD. On the other hand, there are places like Australia that pay much higher than the US with regard to digital goods.)
For people who don’t have a PS4, PS Vita, or Xbox One, the Steam port is your only way of scoring a digital copy (there’s still a lot of physical copies floating around, particularly 2nd hand ones) because the game was removed from digital marketplaces some years back. Of course, the increased resolution is good reason enough to score a copy of this. Not to mention it’s a must for PC-only scrubs like us.
Getting a copy of UMVC 3 should also help tide you over and keep you sharp until the release of Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite later this year.
