All 12 episodes of Madhouse’s anime adaptation of the One Punch-Man digital manga series will be made available to North American fans via a Blue Ray Combo Pack, a Blu-Ray, or a DVD release that features both English subtitled and dubbed versions due for release soon. In order to commemorate the event, VIZ Media is hosting a One Punch themed scavenger hunt dubbed #OnePunchHunt.
The scavenger hunt will be running through May 17 in the Los Angeles Area, and consists of the VIZ animation team scattering 15 character billboards across the city. In order to participate, hunters can take selfies in front of the boards and post to Twitter or Instagram using the #OnePunchHunt hashtag in order to get a chance to win one of 30 knock0out One Punch Man prizes. For the uninitiated, One Punch Man is a superhero parody webcomic by the pseudonymous ONE, which was later adapted into a digital manga series by Yusuke Murata. Published under VIZ Media, the digital manga follows the adventures of Saitama, a superhero who is so strong that he can end all fights with a single punch. The cinch is that Saitama is languishing in relative obscurity, and treated as a low-tier superhero by his colleagues.
