Watch Eva Cvijanovic’s Stop Motion Short, Hedgehog’s Home

The steady stream of award-winning and nominated shorts being released online continues. This time, it’s Eva Cvijanović‘s exquisitely polished stop-motion adaptation of the classic Branko Ćopić tale, Hedgehog’s Home. For the uninitiated, this timeless tale delves into the concept of cultivating one’s own place of safety, no matter how big or small.

The Hedghog’s Home short clocks in at 10 minutes, with narration by Kenneth Welsh of Twin Peaks fame. Produced by Jelena Popović of the NFB and Vanja Andrijević of Bonobostudio, Hedgehog’s Home showcases Cvijanović’s distinct directorial approach, complemented by animation from Ivana Bošnjak and Thomas Johnson and a compelling score from Croatian musician Darko Rundek.
