WATCH: New Clips for Pixar’s Coco

If you need something creepy yet strangely heartwarming next month, Disney-Pixar’s got you covered: November 22 marks the release date of the CG-animated, musically-charged feature Coco. The feature is said to be based on the Mexican holiday “The Day of the Dead” or Dia de los Muertos, and focuses on the story of a 12 year old boy named Miguel and his quest to solve a centuries-old mystery.

In support of the looming release, Disney-Pixar has released a trio of special videos. The first of which is a clip titled “Mariachi Plaza,” which shows why you should never, ever, cross any person’s abuelita:

The second video is “Crafting Coco,” which provides insights on the film’s development straight from the cast and crew:

…and last but not the least, the official VR Trailer:

Coco is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2017. It will premiere on October 20, 2017 during the Morelia International Film Festival in Morelia, Mexico, and will premiere in theaters in Mexico on October 27, the weekend before Dia de Los Muertos.
