WATCH: Official Trailer for Aardman’s Early Man

If you liked the animation style and quirks of Aardman Animation’s Wallace & Gromit, you might want to set aside a day in your calendar for their upcoming stop-motion animation feature, Early Man. The flick focuses on the prehistoric man named Dug, who along with his porcine sidekick Hognob, dreams of uniting his Stone Age tribe agains the technologically superior Bronze Age bullies led by Lord Nooth.

Since the quality of Aardman’s stop motion features cannot be denied, Early Man is an easy sell if you prefer said style and enjoyed the quirky humor inherent in their productions. The premise is also intriguing, in the sense that it would be interesting to know just how a technologically inferior group of people can fight against a superior one, and just how much hilarity will ensue in the process. You can check out the trailer below to get an idea:

Early Man will be releasing in theaters all over the UK on January 26, followed by a US release on February 16.
