Watch Out for The Day Naruto Became Hokage in the Boruto DVD/Blu-ray Release

July 6, 2016 has been announced as the release date of the DVD/Blu-ray of Boruto-Naruto The Movie in Japan. Aniplex has confirmed that the limited production edition will include the new anime short based on The Day When Naruto Became Hokage manga episode, which is illustrated by the original author Masashi Kishimoto.

The story was originally intended for the special booklet Naruto – Hiden Zai no Sho Official Movie book, which were given to the first 2 million viewers of the Boruto film. The Blu-ray is available at 6,480 yen while the DVD is available at 5,400 yen.

Boruto Uzumaki, the son of Naruto and Hinata is the new protagonist in the 11th Naruto film. It was released on August 7 in Japan and earned 2,022,922,500 yen in just 19 days – making it the top-grossing film in the anime franchise that started in 2002.
