WATCH: SDCC Trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, Featuring KANG

The SDCC continues to be the gift that keeps on giving (provided that you’re a videogame and/or comic book geek like us), as the even became vehicle to a new video spot for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, which features the time traveling tyrant named Kang the Conqueror. As the trailer shows, the 2nd LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 (although technically the 3rd, if you count LEGO Marvel Avengers as a sequel) looks as visually pleasing as a LEGO game can get. Have a look for yourself via the embedded video below:

The trailer also features glimpses at some of the locations such as Ancient Egypt, New York 2099, Wakanda, Xandar, as well as new characters Carnom (basically Carnage and Venom together), Howard the Duck, Gwenpool, Doctor Octopus, and others. Sadly, fans of the Fantastic Four and the X-Men will have to sit this one out as their favorite characters won’t be given a spot in the limelight this time around, for reasons that are much too complex (and subject to different unconfirmed rumors) to discuss in this post.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be available on a variety of videogame platforms on November 14, 2017.
