If you’re looking for a new iOS app to play around with, this week will be the perfect time to shell out your $0.99 as it marks the worldwide release of the new The WotWots app, Pocket SpottyWot.
The new app allows preschoolers to poke, tickle, and play around with SpottyWot while the character is in hoverchair. SpottyWot can also be coaxed into talking and spinning, and kids can even pet the character to calm him down and let him go to sleep, like a hoverchair-bound tamagotchi. Of course, it wouldn’t be worthy of the WotWot brand if there is no educational merit to the app, which is why Pocket SpottyWot also encourages preschoolers to learn more about animals in its Sneak-a-Peek viewfinder.
The App release comes fresh off the heels of American Greetings Properties’ recent agreement with Pukeko pictures, giving the former worldwide licensing and merchandising rights for the WotWots preschool property.
