Zodiac Kids Introduces Marco Macaco
Zodiak Kids’ subsidiary, Tele Images Productions, in collaboration with Danish studio Nice Ninja, are bringing in a new 3D Animated Comedy show entitled The Marco Macaco Show to Cannes. Co-produced with Canal+, the show is a TV spin-off series based on the forthcoming animated feature by Jan Rahbek, aptly named Marco Macaco.
The Marco Macaco show follows the daily life of the world’s most dedicated beach officer, Marco Macaco. In Marco’s strident refusal to deviate from the right way, he manages to get zapped by his own stun gun, get pinned by a grand piano, sent into the sky by a rocket, and knock the president out – all in one day.
The Marco Macaco Show is the second animated comedy show from Tele Images Production, but it will be the first TV series from Nice Ninja, which is more popular for producing feature films.
“With TV channels becoming increasingly more interested in co-viewing, The Marco Macaco Show is the type of high-quality cartoon that can be watched by parents with their children,” says Philippe Alessandri, CEO of Tele Images Productions.
