E3 2012: Disney Announces New Phineas and Ferb Game
At this year’s E3 convention, Disney Mobile has finally revealed details to their upcoming Phineas and Ferb mobile game titled “Where’s My Perry?”, which is actually a spiritual successor to Disney’s extremely popular mobile game “Where’s My Water?” The game stars Phineas and Ferb;s crime fighting platypus puzzling his way through subterranean stages.
The gameplay in Where’s My Perry is similar to the one in Where’s My Water, in which players use their fingers to dig through the dirt in each stage, guiding a pool of water to the exit. It looks simple on paper but it actually gives way to very deep puzzle game. The main difference in Where’s My Perry is the use of “Crazy-inators”, which is basically power ups that can instantly turn water into steam, ice, or back to liquid.
Where’s My Perry? is due out on iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and Android devices later this month.
