iTunes Launches Pokemon Portal

The Pokemon Company International has recently announced that iTunes will be launching a new Pokemon-related content portal on their service, which can be accessed through iTunes.com/Pokemon. The iTunes Pokemon subsite will feature animated TV episodes and specials, official apps (such as the iOS version of the Pokedex and Pokemon TV) as well as video game soundtracks.

In order to celebrate the launch, iTunes will be offering the latest TV series season, Pokemon the Series: XY as well as the four-part Pokemon Origins special. The episodes for the current season are currently made available on iTunes in the U.S., Australia, Canada, U.K., France, and Germany. According to the announcement, Canadian, U.S., and Australian territories will get new episodes on the destination page on a weekly basis.
