Pokemon Black/White 2 Lets You Fight Against Real World Champs
One of the central tenets of Pokemon, besides “Catch ‘em all”, is to prove that you’re the very best. It’s something that Nintendo is really taking seriously, by selecting some of the top players who will advance to Hawaii during the 2012 Pokemon World Championships, and using them and their Pokemon teams as models for extra challenges that Pokemon Black/White 2 players can download via Nintendo Wi-Fi and play against.
Currently, there are 36 American TGC and Videogame players scheduled to go to Hawaii in August in order to compete in the championships, and any one of them and their trained pokemon can be selected for the downloadable challenge program, which means players from around the world will be able to test their mettle based on the real world’s very best pokemon players. Further announcements will be made later this fall.
