Pokemon GO Kanto Week has Started

Pokemon GO’s new Kanto-focused event has officially started, and it will be running all throughout the week, with the official end date being April 16. Many Pokemon GO players are no doubt already prepared for the event, as the information was leaked ahead of the event launch. And as expected, the event will feature many Pokemon that were originally discovered in the Kanto Region appearing more frequently. The list includes (but is not limited to) the likes of Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Pikachu.

The event will also feature the return of Snorlax and Aerodactyl as raid bosses. Players can take advantage of the event to finally complete their Kanto Pokedex and earn a gold Kanto medal. All Pokemon Candy received when transferring Pokemon or capturing them will be doubled during the Kanto event, with Special Boxes going on sale along with bundles on Premium Raid Passes.

The Pokemon GO Kanto Week will end on April 17.
