Pokemon Gold and Silver Re-Release Gets a Nostalgic Trailer


Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, which were released in Japan and the West in 1999 and 2000 respectively, are landmarks in the series and beloved by many longtime fans. So this coming September 22, Nintendo is banking that these same fans are on hand to welcome the games’ return via the 3DS eShop.

To sell you in on the idea of replaying these old school Pokemon RPGs, they made a launch trailer that will be very, very nostalgic to old fans, while still looking cool enough for new players. Check it out below:

For those who dislike digital only purchases, there will also be a limited boxed version released on the same day.
