Pokemon Sun and Moon’s First Global Mission is Live

The first ever Global Mission has started for Pokemon Sun and Moon, and it’s been penciled in to run between now until December 12. The goal? All players need to do their part and catch Pokemon like heck through Pokemon Global Link until the total reaches 100 million.

Of course, while catching Pokemon is a fun activity in and of itself, there should be an incentive if people all over the world are going to try and catch this much: players who participate in the event will earn Festival Coins. If the goal is met, everybody gets 2,000 but if the mission fails, people still get rewarded with 100 coins just for trying – everybody happy, right?

To join the event, you just need to visit the Festival Plaza and speak to the lady at the desk in the castle. Progress will update each time you use Game Sync, remember that your game must be connected to the Global Link in order to participate.
