Pokemon TCG Makes Its Way to iPad

As previously announced at the World Championships in Washington DC this summer, the online version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game has been launched on the iPad platform. This will be a big boon to fans of the iconic TCG that no longer have the ability to collect and store the cards (for a number of reasons, I’m sure.) The Pokemon TCG Online game lets players collect, trade, and play on their iPads instead of lugging a bunch of cards around.

This is not a mere app that will help players of the TCG, but an actual game that will supplant the tangible cards, if you prefer things digitally. The official description:

The Pokémon TCG Online app will give you all the fun of the desktop game, including online play, deck building, and card trading. And thanks to your Pokémon Trainer Club account, your card collection and game progress will be the same wherever you play the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.
