Super Smash Bros. Will Feature a Pokemon X/Y Stage

Contrary to initial speculation, there will be some notable differences between the Nintendo 3DS port of the next Super Smash Bros. game, compared to the Wii U version (besides the smaller screen and the 3D, of couse). A few days ago, it was revealed that the 3DS version will have a stage based on Animal Crossing, and now director Masahiro Sakurai has revealed an even better stage that’s going to show up on the portable version.

That’s right, it’s Lumiose City from none other than Pokemon X/Y. As per Sakurai’s statement, even the top of the tower in the picture will be fair game (previous announcements reveal that fighters will be placed randomly in different parts of the stages).
