New Trailer for Pokemon Scramble U

pokemon-scrambleU

A new trailer has been released for Pokemon Scramble U (Rumble, in the NA version), this time showing off a new gimmick that promises to make the series even more addictive than it already is: collectible figurines.

Taking its cue from Skylanders, the collectible figurines can be placed on the Wii U Gamepad in order to “zap” them into the game. A handful of figurines will be debuting alongside the game upon launch in Japan on April 24.

The first batch of figurines that will be available at launch will consist of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Torchic, Victini, Lucario, and Piplup. Pokémon Scramble U will be priced at ¥1,800 ($19), and the figures will cost ¥200 ($2) per piece.
