MAD: WWE Bought a Zoo and Two Broke Powerpuff Girls

This week, MAD unknowingly pokes fun at the whole World Wrestling Entertainment/World Wildflife Fund debacle while spoofing “We Bought a Zoo”, as it tells a heartfelt tale of a man who tries to buy a zoo, only to get bodyslammed repeatedly, starring Triple H, John Cena, and Matt Damon. MAD also has “Two Broke Powerpuff Girls” – in which two of the Powerpuff Girls trio find themselves broke and in need of work, and where else could they go, but the local diner. Of course, MAD will not be complete without Spy vs Spy, Alfred E. Neuman, and other sketches!

The new season of MAD on Cartoon Network promises to bring more pop culture-based parodies and sketches, so you may want to keep watching the show if you want to see hilarious takes on popular franchises that are just begging to be made fun of, such as Transformers, Thundercats, and even Cartoon Network’s own shows, particularly the hit Ben 10: Alien Force. There are also spoof mashups like CSICarly (CSI and iCarly), and commercial parodies like Toys4Brats.
