Amanda Seyfried, Zac Efron Join Scooby Doo Cast

Earlier this month, it was reported that Gina Rodriguez and Will Forte were both added to the voice cast of Warner Bros. Animation Group’s upcoming animated Scooby Doo feature. Theyy will be voicing Velma and Shaggy, respectively. Now, two more high profile names have been announced: Amanda Seyfried and Zac Efron.

Seyfried will lend her voice to the wealthy, attractive Mystery Inc. Member Daphne, while Efron will play the self-appointed leader of the group, Fred Jones. The voice of Scooby Doo will be handled by Frank Welker, who has voiced the character since the original 1969 TV series.

The actual title of the fully-animated Scooby-Doo feature has not been revealed yet, but the release date is already set for May 15, 2020.
