Rick Morales: Exclusive LEGO Scooby Doo Interview
LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood – Get ready for hilarious hijinks in Tinseltown as Scooby and the gang head to Hollywood – this time in LEGO® form – where they visit a legendary motion picture studio that’s haunted by movie monsters from classic old films. ToonBarn Head Writer Marc Morrell was there at WonderCon for the world premiere of this all-new film, and interviewed members of the cast and crew – led by director Rick Morales, writer Jim Krieg, and popular voice actor James Arnold Taylor – as they told the tales of making the movie. TV Guide Magazine senior writer Damian Holbrook moderated the panel. The cast includes Frank Welker (Scooby-Doo, Fred), Grey Griffin (Daphne), Matthew Lillard (Shaggy), Kate Micucci (Velma), Scott Menville, Dee Bradley Baker, JB Blanc and Elvira, the Mistress of the Dark herself, Cassandra Peterson!
LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood comes out on DVD and Blu-ray Combo Pack (including a LEGO Scooby Doo figure) on May 10.
For today’s story, we have an exclusive interview from the WonderCon Premiere of LEGO® Scooby-Doo!: Haunted Hollywood. Rick Morales directed the film, and ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell spoke with him before the panel that premiered the film.
