Kirstin Wiig to Guest on The Simpsons
The Simpsons is not keen on slowing down as far as celebrity guest voices are concerned, as Entertainment Weekly reports that former SNL cast member and Bridesmaids star Kirstin Wiig will be dropping by in order to portray an FBI agent who helps Lisa investigate Homer, after the Simpsons patriarch has suddenly exhibited strangely polite behaviour, which coincides with a recent visit to a nuclear power plant convention.
The episode, which is titled “Homerland,” will be airing this fall. Wiig is no stranger to Simpsons guest voices, as she has already appeared in season 22 of the show, where she played a substitute music teacher.
In related news, it has also been reported that CNN news anchor has recorded a cameo voice for the new season of the show, where he will play himself in an episode set in the year 2043.
