Tina Fey to Guest on The Simpsons

Tina Fey to Guest on The Simpsons

30 Rock Star and Creator Tina Fey will be making a guest appearance on the long running animated comedy sitcom, The Simpsons, this spring. The writer/comedienne will lend her voice to the character Ms. Cantwell, who is a well-meaning substitute teacher who, for some reason, did not warm up to Lisa and instead bullies her.

In the episode, Ms. Cantwell will be doing certain things to make Lisa’s life difficult, including giving her a B and Ralph an A, even though Ralph made the mistake of signing his paper “Ralpha”.

Tina Fey’s episode will be titled “Black Eyed, Please” (a pun on the R&B group?), and will air this spring as part of The Simpsons’ 24th season on September 30. The season opener will also feature other popular guest stars, such as Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Zooey Deschanel, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Sarah Silverman, who will all reprise their roles as Bart’s exes.
