New South Park: Bass to Mouth deals with online scandals and privacy

New South Park Episode Deals With Online Scandals and Privacy

This week’s upcoming episode of Comedy Central’s South Park is about a new popular website that became famous for leaking information about the kids of South Park. The episode, entitled ‘Bass to Mouth,’ airs on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 10 PM (check local listings for air dates in your area), has the students of South Park Elementary panicking as they find themselves unwilling victims of a new gossip website, Eavesdropper.

The gossip website was able to publish the scandalous news due to an elusive hacker who has somehow compromised the students’ confidential phone calls and e-mails, and uses the compromised data to post scandalous and juicy stories online. One gets a feeling that this episode is a nod to the recent scandals involving the mobiles of Hollywood celebrities being compromised, with some of the more recent ones resulting in compromising pictures of a female actress being leaked all over the internet.

As per usual, Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are executive producers of the episode, along with Anne Garefino. The supervising producer will be Frank C. Agnone II, and the producers will be Eric Stough, Bruce Howell, Adrien Beard, and Vernon Chatman. You can watch a preview of the episode at www.southparkstudios.com
