South Park Digital Studios has announced that a new Xbox Live Arcade game entitled South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge is set to launch in spring 2012. South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge is developed by Other Ocean Interactive, which was responsible for the development of Konami’s Xbox LIVE arcade port of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and the Nintendo DS port of Ultimate Mortal Kombat.
Tenorman’s Revenge allows fans to play as Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman as they battle an army of Gingers led by Scott Tenorman. Fans will remember Tenorman from episode 4 of Season 5, as the receiving end of Cartman’s horrible idea for revenge. He also resurfaces later as the leader of the army of gingers that are featured in the game. And somewhere along the way, it was revealed that Scott is actually Eric Cartman’s half-brother, through a massively convoluted – yet highly entertaining – plot involving Cartman’s mother, the entire menfolk of South Park, and South Park Broncos player Jack Tenorman.
A multiplayer co-op is also available, which will allow up to four players to team up against the ginger army. The game will be exclusive to the XBLA and there are currently no plans to port it to other systems.
