The Clone Wars Season Finale: Maul comes face to face with Obi Wan
This is it, the moment fans are waiting for. Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul finally meet each other in the Season Finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars this March 16, Friday, 8PM ET/PT on the Cartoon Network.
For those in need of a recap, Darth Maul and Obi Wan first met each other in Naboo, during the events of The Phantom Menace. Maul faced both Jedi Master Qui Gon Jinn and the young Obi Wan Kenobi. Maul was able to defeat Qui Gonn, and almost did the same thing to the jedi master’s padawan. It was only through luck that Kenobi was able to get the jump on Maul, cutting the sith lord and half and letting him fall to his death.
It turns out that Maul didn’t die. After a galaxy-spanning search and rescue mission, Maul’s brother Savage Opress found the former Sith Lord, and now they have joined forces to get their revenge on Obi Wan Kenobi. There are a few changes this time around, Kenobi is no longer the inexperienced padawan in the Phantom Menace, and Maul seems to have some sort of cybernetic legs that will replace the ones he lost to Kenobi. Also, he is now able to talk.
