The Heroes of Star Wars Rebels Will Be Making Their Way to San Diego Comic-Con

The premiere of Lucasfilm’s highly anticipated animated series, Star Wars Rebels, is still a long ways off, but fans will be able to catch a big sneak peek at the San Diego Comic-Con via their special panel, The Heroes of Star Wars Rebels, on Thursday, July 24, 6pm to 7pm at Room 6BCF. The panel will feature executive producer Dave Filoni along with the first panel appearance of the show’s executive producer Simon Kinberg and stars Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, and Taylor Gray. The panel will feature discussions about making the show and will debut several exclusive reveals for the fans in attendance.

Star Wars Rebels will continue the epic tradition of the legendary Star Wars saga as it delves into the early beginnings of the fight against the evil Galactic Empire. The series starts with the Imperial forces occupying a remote planet and ruling it with an iron fist. The slightly dysfunctional crew of the starship Ghost is one of the few ragtag groups that will muster the courage to stand against the empire, effectively kickstarting the rebellion that fans of the original trilogy have come to know and love.
