A couple of new clips has just been released for this week’s episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, titled “Sabotage,” which is actually the first in a four-part episode arc. The episode will air this coming Saturday, February 9th at 9:30am ET/PT on the Cartoon Network.
In “Sabotage,” Anakin and Ahsoka are pulled out of the frontlines and tasked with investigating a deadly explosion at the Jedi Temple. The duo eventually unearths clues that point to a Jedi being responsible for the blast. Who was the perpetrator?
The episode has Anakin stating that “one can become the other,” referring to past political idealists who have betrayed the Jedi, such as Count Dooku and General Krell. The statement seems ironic coming from him, given his future as Darth Vader.
The four episodes of this arc will have titles that serve as a nod to Alfred Hitchock’s films, namely Sabotage (1936), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934), To Catch a Thief (1955) and The Wrong Man (1955).
