Star Wars Episode VII Adds 2 New Cast Members

Star Wars: Episode VII has just added a couple of new names to its cast list, as a result of an open casting call that attracted over 67 thousand individuals. The first lucky hopeful is an American actress studying in Glasgow, Scotland, named Crystal Clarke. Her background includes experience in both stage and screen acting, and will be soon seen in her first feature, The Moon and the Sun.The next cast member is British actor Pip Andersen, who is a skilled parkour practitioner who has shown his abilities in a recent Spider-Man advert for Sony.

The casting call was announced last year and played host to more than 11 cities in the US and UK. The casting call saw 37 thousand personal attendees and more than 30 thousand online applications.

Shooting is currently on track and the film itself is scheduled for a December 18, 2015 release.
