This week, MAD answers the question “What will happen when Victor Von Doom enrolls in a performing arts high school?” in the sketch entitled VICTORious, They also poke fun at Phineas and Ferb in “A Dolphineas and Ferb Tale”, as Phineas and Ferb learn how to help a hurt dolphin the right way. Of course, it wouldn’t be MAD if there’s no Spy VS Spy, Alfred E. Neuman, and other hilarious parodies and spoof sketches.

MAD: WWE Bought a Zoo and Two Broke Powerpuff Girls

This week, MAD unknowingly pokes fun at the whole World Wrestling Entertainment/World Wildflife Fund debacle while spoofing “We Bought a Zoo”, as it tells a heartfelt tale of a man who tries to buy a zoo, only to get bodyslammed repeatedly, starring Triple H, John Cena, and Matt Damon. MAD also has “Two Broke Powerpuff Girls” – in which two of the Powerpuff Girls trio find themselves broke and in need of work, and where else could they go, but the local diner. Of course, MAD will not be complete without Spy vs Spy, Alfred E. Neuman, and other sketches!

MAD promises to bring the laughs this Monday at 8:30 pm ET/PT, with “Twilight: Staking Dawn”, a parody of the popular teen vampire romance franchise, in which sparkling undead Edward and his eponymous bride Bella finally cement their union with a wedding, only to have the occasion ruined as the party is crashed by a vampire slayer. This MAD episode also includes “Cookie Blue”, which has the Cookie Monster leaving Sesame Street in order to pursue a career in law enforcement. Of course, MAD will never be complete without a Spy VS Spy segment and Alfred E. Neuman.

TELETOON adds MAD animated series to its Primetime Lineup

This coming holiday season, TELETOON will spice up its already hot programming lineup by picking up the MAD animated series. The animated show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and is based on the long-running humor magazine of the same name, which was published by DC Comics. Back when print media started feeling the effects of the burgeoning popularity of the Internet, many magazines – particularly those related to Entertainment – have started looking for other venues. Cracked has become a powerhouse on the Internet, and many comic book companies have sought digital distribution.

At 8:30pm on Monday, November 7th, it’s time to go MAD! Cartoon Network is rolling out an all new episode of the wacky animated comedy, this time titled Dances With Wolverine / Tater Tots and Tiaras. First up, we have Wolverine getting caught up in a Footloose parody, and showing how ferocious he can be on the dance floor. Hopefully, the adamantium claws wont get in the way, but we’re not making any promises. The episode also invades the world of beauty pageants for kids, and how the folks behind the Alfred E. Neuman show have decided to kick up the potato factor. What, me worry? Throw in some Spy vs. Spy and a number of other parodies and sketches, and you’ve got yourself some quality MAD.

If there’s one place you can count on a good Halloween special, it’s MAD! Alfred E. Neuman and company are up to some awesome treats (and tricks) as the gang pull out all the stops for this week’s show, Kitchen Nightmare Before Christmas / How I Met Your Mummy. The Warner Bros. toon features a stop motion, claymation style spoof in the style (vein??) of The Nightmare Before Christmas titled Kitchen Nightmare Before Christmas. And anyone out there who watches How I Met Your Mother will certainly appreciate the twist in How I Met Your Mummy. Sprinkle in some Spy vs. Spy, a bunch of animation, a Dog Halloween costume party and all types of candy and you have yourself a great toon!

When a cowboy wakes up with no memory and a strange alien bracelet that transforms him into ten different aliens, you have the perfect making of Cowboys and Alien Force. Then, when the kingdom of Thundera is attacked by the forces of the the internet, you’ve got yourself the Thunder LOLcats. Mix in some Alfred E. Neuman, Spy vs. Spy, Frosty Charms, angry wolves, Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, Superman, and Voltron Force, and you’ve got yourself a brand new episode of MAD: Cowboys and Alien Force, Thunder LOLcats.

That’s the story MAD will present to us this week in Pirates of the Pair of Tweens as Jack and his crew discovers the fountain of youth, which works a little too well. Meanwhile, Conan the Barbarian settles down with a nice young lady, and even decides to take her name. You might have heard of her; Kim Kardashian. Well, now the Kardashians can welcome Konan the Kardashian! Sprinkle in a little Spy vs. Spy, some random shorts, and of course Alfred E. Neuman, and September 12th’s MAD at 8:30pm on Cartoon Network is the place to be.

Does Labor Day have you just about ready to go MAD? Well, Cartoon Network is already there! On Monday, September 5th, Labor Day in the U.S., Cartoon Network will air an all new episode of the Alfred E. Neuman animated series. First up, we have Kung Fu Panda battling… a bird? Yeah, certainly seems like a step down from an awesome tiger beast, and MAD can’t help but think much blander. Then, Bob the builder get’s a little assistance from Andrew WK. Sprinkle in some Spy vs. Spy, regular visits from the side gags, and even some Han Solo of Star Wars fame matching up with his “long lost sister” Grettel (Grettel Solo?) and you have yourself the perfect way to go MAD, “Kung-Fu Blander, Destroy Bob the Builder Destroy.” TOON in at 8:30pm and enjoy!

This weekend is Labor Day weekend here in the States, which means a lot of good relaxing, BBQ food, and the final, unofficial send-off to the warm Summer season. Here at the ToonBarn Studios, as much as we love building snow forts in January, losing out on our beach-going hot days is a little upsetting. In fact, it’s a little MADdening. Thankfully, Cartoon Network has tapped into that energy, with a brand new episode of MAD just waiting for us on Labor Day Monday, September 5th. At 8:30PM, be sure to check out Alfred E.
