Michael Price, Writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles

ToonBarn is once again honored to have Michael Price as our guest for an interview about LEGO Star Wars: Menace of the Sith, the second of a three-part animated mini-series called The Yoda Chronicles on Cartoon Network. This second installment will be premiering at 8 PM ET on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, on Cartoon Network.

ToonBarn’s Marc Morrell talked to Michael Price, the writer and Executive Producer of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles. Michael, as most of you know by now, has been a full-time staff writer for The Simpsons for many years. Since we have interviewed him 3 times prior to this, including our interview at Times Square in New York City, during the unveiling of the World’s Largest LEGO Model, a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter, we thought we would just get right into this next episode of The Yoda Chronicles.

A couple of new clips for Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been released as a way of teasing this week’s episode, titled “The Jedi Who Knew Too Much. The episode finds Ahsoka at odds with Admiral Tarkin as the Republic military starts to take over the Temple bombing case. The episode will air on Saturday, Feburary 16th at 9:30 am ET/PT on the Cartoon Network.

The first clip has Letta Turmond requesting for a chance to talk to Ahsoka Tano. There’s nothing much, as the clip cuts out just when they start talking, but we do get a glimpse at the Republican military’s security measures, including confiscating the Jedi’s lightsabers before allowing her in.

Darth Maul returns in Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Darth Maul returns in Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Cartoon Network has let it be known: Darth Maul is on his way back. The Sith Lord from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace began as the apprentice to Darth Sidious. But his demonic red face, horned head, and double-bladed lightsaber have kept the character incredibly powerful: even after his apparent death in the first film, at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi. But what if he wasn’t dead? What if Darth Maul somehow survived? This is the premise being explored later this season on Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars – and frankly, we can’t wait to find out what happens!
