English Trailer for Bayonetta: Bloody Fate Anime Film

FUNimation has just released an English trailer for the Bayonetta: Bloody Fate anime film, which is slated for an October 21 release on Blu-Ray and DVD combo pack. The film is directed by Afro Samurai’s Fuminori Kizaki, and the trailer itself was already shown during Nintendo’s Comic-Con stream. FUNimation Acquires License for Bayonetta: Bloody Fate Anime Film

FUNimation Entertainment has recently announced that they have licensed the anime film Bayonetta: Bloody Fate for Canada and the United States. In support of the film, director Fuminori Kizaki will be appearingat Anime Expo in Los Angelos over the weekend of July 3, along with a preview of the English dub.

A new English dub preview has just been released for Pokémon the Movie: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, which is the latest Pokemon anime film scheduled to debut in Japanese theatres on July 19. The film has not been licensed outside of Japan yet, but the English dub should at least give you an idea on what to expect once it gets here:

Full Trailer for Detective Conan: Ijigen no Sniper Released

Cinema Today has recently posted the full trailer for the upcoming anime film Detective Conan: Ijigen no Sniper, which is the 18th Conan film. The film will feature the appearance of Shuichi Akai, and will focus on a sniping incident case. The film will also include appearances by Subaru Okiya and FBI agent Jodie Starling.

Upcoming Pokemon Movie to Introduce New Pokemon, Diancie

There are some teasers for the next Pokemon anime film on the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine, namely the introduction of a brand new Pokemon named Diancie. The title of the film will be Pokemon XY: Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie, which obviously implies that Diancie will be the main focus, and that it will be based on the Pokemon XY series.

At the recent press conference for the musical adaptation of the Buddha manga, which was held in Tokyo last January 25th, Tezuka Productions president Takayuki Matsutatni announced that they will be starting production of the second part of Osamu Tezuka’s Buddha anime film trilogy this year.

The Buddha anime film trilogy is based on Osamu Tezuka’s same-titled anga, which was published in Japan from 1972 to 1983, and is widely considered as one of the best representatives of his body of work internationally.

New Teaser for Tiger & Bunny: Anime Film

If you’re a fan of unapologetically commercialized superheroics, then you should be excited for next fall as everybody’s favorite corporate-sponsored heroes return in Tiger & Bunny: The Rising anime film. The official website for the movie has also posted a short teaser clip, hinting at what could be termed as “the final day of Sternbild City.”

The clip opens with a shot of Dragon Kid and some of Sternbild City’s superheroes, looking like they were defeated by someone, as to who that someone is, the following shot shows his silhouette. Then we get what looks like a staredown between Kotetsu and Barnaby, all of it while an ominous score plays in the background:
