Nickelodeon has recently launched a new global animated shorts program in order to find raw, creative animation talent from all over the world. The program was so successful that it managed to receive more than a hundred submissions from artists, writers, designers, directors, and comedians from as many as 20 different countries across six continents.
The 2D animated feature Days of the Crows is slated to screen at the 2012 Spanish San Sebastian Film Festival in the New Directors category. Based on the same-titled novel from Jean-Francois Beauchemin, Day of the Crows was already screened at the 2012 Annecy Festival, albeit not as an entry into the competition.
