VIDEO: Bob’s Burgers Season Finale

Fox has just released a new promo video for the fifth season finale of the hit animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers. The season finale will come in the form of two episodes that spoof certain popular franchises. One is called “The Oeder Games,” which is preceded by “Hawk & Chick,” which pays tribute to the iconic chambara franchise Lone Wolf and Cub.

In “Hawk & Chick,” Bob and daughter Louise are thrilled upon meeting Hawk, who is the star of their favorite martial arts series. Upon learning that the star is going through problems in his family, the duo are quick to offer their help – with hilarious results.

Fox Orders Fifth Season of Bob’s Burgers

Fox has recently ordered 22 new episodes of the hit animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers, effectively greenlighting the Emmy Award-nominated seres’ fifth season. Bob’s Burgers managed to become one of top comedy among men aged 18 to 49, men aged 18 to 34, and was ne of the Top 10 comedies among Male Teens. Additionally, BOB’S BURGERS was one of only two broadcast comedies to post year-over-year gains (+10%) among Adults 18-49.

Adult Swim Picks Up Bob’s Burgers


According to a recent report, Loren Bouchard’s breakthrough animated comedy hit Bob’s Burgers may end up flipping patties on another network, after a decent run on Fox. Mainly because the show’s off network cable rights have been picked up by Adult Swim. Fox will still be airing its fourth season on Fox next fall, but Adult Swim will start airing the first three seasons this summer. Bob’s Burgers will be joining The Cleveland Show, Family Guy and King of the Hill on the Adult Swim block.

Bob’s Burgers first premiered on Fox in January of 2011, and follows the Belcher family – Bob, Linda, and their offsprings Tina, Gene, and Louise – as they try their best to run a burger joint.

Fox has just greenlighted the fourth season of Loren Bouchard’s hit animated comedy series Bob’s Burgers, which will consist of 22 new episodes. As part of Fox’s Animation Domination lineup, Bob’s Burgers became last year’s biggest animated ratings success for the network, as it managed to rank second in its Sunday night period among adult men and male teens.
