We would like to thank Bruce Timm and Jim Krieg for their time on the red carpet in Washington DC. They pulled out all the stops to make this film special for DC Comics and Batman fans alike. We hope you are able to see Batman: Gotham by Gaslight to learn why Bruce and Jim thought there needed to be more suspects in this animated adaptation than there were in the original graphic novel, so the audience could really get caught up in the “whodunit” and they could stretch it out to 74 minutes.

Batman and Harley Quinn coming to UltraHD (4K), Blu-ray & DVD on August 29, 2017

ToonBarn is excited to announce the first ever Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack release of a DC Universe Original Movie – Batman and Harley Quinn – on August 29th. The DC Universe Original Movie will have its World Premiere at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) on July 21st. We’ll be there to cover the red carpet interviews and the World Premiere, which will be followed by a Q&A Panel with the cast and crew from the film.

Batman: The Killing Joke SDCC Panel & Interviews

Considering we have read the graphic novel many times prior to the film coming out, we were pleased with the movie, and with the producers’ and writer’s adaptation of the graphic novel and the additional prologue for Batgirl. We didn’t quite understand which scenes made it Rated R, per se, as it really could have been PG-13, by today’s standards.
