Drax Rumored to Be Part of Avengers 3

I think we’re pretty much done with rumors and speculations over Avengers: Age of Uiltron, so now we’re moving on and tackling rumors and speculations over Avengers 3. The first one of which is that Dave Bautista’s Drax the Destroyer will have a significant role in the third Avengers film.

The details came from wrestling-related site PW Mania, in which former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista is said to have been offered a new deal by Marvel, one in which his character Drax will be incorporated into the Avengers lineup, in what the site describes as “a major role.”

Hawkeye Could Appear in Captain America 3

One of the finer things about Captain America: The Winter Soldier is that it was primarily S.H.I.E.L.D.-centric, showcasing street level superheroes and villains that allowed it to take on a more realistic action tone, as opposed to sci-fi. This meant that Black Widow was able to appear without turning into a deus ex machina (something that the Hulk, Thor, or even Iron Man would turn into if they helped Steve in the film.)

The 3rd film in the series will most likely follow the same tone, if we’re going by what Jeremy Renner has hinted at during a statement made to Collider. According to Renner, Hawkeye could make an appearance but he’s not exactly sure what’s going to happen:

Possible Cameos Link Ant-Man Movie to Marvel’s Cinematic Universe

Marvel’s big screen adaptation of Ant-Man is getting ready to start filming, and Latino Review has once again released a rumor regarding potential cameos that could link the film to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to the Latino Review team, an early draft of the Ant-Man script contains a scene in which Hank Pym has a meeting with Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, and Arnim Zola, which links the film directly to the Captain America films. Additionally, the meeting is said to include a young Alexander Pierce, whose older version was played by Robert Redford in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Bucky Barnes Will Return for Captain America 3

After a strong performance at the box office with Captian America: The Winter Soldier, the team of Joe and Anthony Russo are back and currently hard at work on the development of the third installment in the franchise, Captain America 3. One of the latest information about the threequel is the confirmation that Bucky Barnes will be returning, although that seems hardly a surprise to people who watched The Winter Soldier.

New Preview Clip and Gallery from Marvel’s Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United

The last Heroes United, which had Iron Man teaming up with Hulk ended well, but the two heroes had a little bit of friction along the way. Most would chalk it up to the Hulk being highly unstable, but we’re not that quick to absolve Stark of all the blame. He can be obtuse sometimes. And with the new installment of the Heroes United series of films, we might get to see if Stark is really completely free of faults, as there’s no way a conflict will be instigated by his next partner: Mr. Captain America himself, Steve Rogers.

In Marvel’s Iron Man & Captain America: Heroes United, Iron Man and Captain America will have to join forces in order to combat the compounded threat of the Red Skull, Taskmaster and an army of Hydra Brutes. The film will feature the voices of Adrian Pasdar and Roger Craig voicing Iron Man and Captain America, respectively. Clancy Brown will also be featured, lending his voice to the villainous Taskmaster.

Sebastian Stan Mocks DC’s Movie Track Record

As reported previously, 2016 will see Warner Bros./DC and Disney/Marvel going toe to toe as both Batman vs. Superman and Captain America 3 will premiere on the same weekend. And while the type of fan who will only watch one movie over the other is so rare to the point of being theoretical, actor Sebastian Stan (who plays Bucky Barnes on Marvel’s side) is keen on playing around with the rivalry between the studios:

Marvel Schedules Captain America 3 for May 2016

Marvel has recently announced that their May 6, 2016 release slot will be occupied by the third installment in the Captain America movie franchise. This in itself is not big news, but it is made interesting by the fact that the new schedule puts it in direct competition with Warner Bros’ Batman vs. Superman.Besides May 2016, Marvel is also holding onto another release slot – May 2017. However, the movie that will occupy the 2nd slot is still untitled.
