Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer returns November 30th

Christmas just isn’t Christmas unless all the details are just right. The decorations, the snow, all of that helps — but really, we’re talking about all the awesome animated specials here. Some of them have been running for nearly 50 years, bringing generation after generation all of the excitement of the Christmas holiday season. Rudolph is one of those all-time classics, based on the poem that created the character back in 1939. In the mid 60s, the stop motion animated special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer first graced the airwaves on NBC, switching over to a regular appearance on CBS in 1972. In fact, the toon has become so popular and expected that it’s one of the few holiday specials the network airs more than once! The first of which will hit CBS on November 30th, at 8pm. Get in the spirit!
