Warwick Davis to Host Star Wars Celebration Europe


Fans who will be attending the official Lucasfilm event for all thigns Star Wars, Star Wars Celebration, will be enjoying the talents of their extraordinary Celebrity Host, Warwick Davis.

While Warwick Davis is more famous for his role as an evil Leprechaun in the same-titled horror movie franchise, he got his start in the business playing Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. Davis also played roles in other LucasFilm projects, such as Ewoks: Battle for Endor and Caravan of Courage, as well as the title role in Willow, which will be making its Blu Ray debut on March 12. He has also played roles in the prequels, particularly The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars Celebration Europe to Come to Germany This Year

The official Lucasfilm event for all things related to Star Wars, Star Wars Celebration Europe, will be coming to Messe Essen, Germany this July 26-28, 2013. Tickets are now available via the website

The Star Wars Celebration this year is expected to draw anywher from 25,000 to 30,000 fans of the franchise to Essen, which is impressive considering that it’s only the second time Lucasfilm has presented an official Celebration in Europe, with the first one being set in London last 2007.

Here’s how awesomely cool Ashley Eckstein is: She is one of the busiest people on the planet, but somehow, she managed to give us an interview on Sunday Afternoon, after only meeting her for the first time on the previous Friday Night.

It was a real pleasure to meet Ashley and her husband David in New York City at the “The Mary Sue/Her Universe” Party on the Friday Night of New York Comic Con Weekend. Ashley was cosplaying as a Star Trek Zombie (Spock Hoodie), so she wasn’t immediately recognizable.
