Official Trailer for Sony’s Peanuts Movie

A bunch of pictures from Fox and Blue Sky’s upcoming CG animated adaptation of Peanuts is already floating around on the Internet, but for those of you who are skeptical of non-moving images and their ability to show a film’s quality, the official trailer has finally been released by Fox. And it’s in HD, too.

People who don’t want the franchise to turn into CG should be glad to know that it’s not trying to be realistic. In fact, the CG feels more like a cross between stop motion and the original 2D.

New Trailer for Upcoming Saint Seiya CG Movie: Legend of Sanctuary

A couple of years ago, Toei talked up a storm over a planned “top level budget” CGI 3D movie based on the iconic manga/anime franchise Saint Seiya. Toei Animation chairman Kozo Morishita at that time stated that their plan was originally to “produce TV series first and then a film,” but eventually realized that starting with a movie before embarking on a series is a better way of testing the appetite of the audience and limit the risks.
