Pokemon Hits The U.K. with Black & White Fever

Pokemon Hits The U.K with Black & White Fever

Pokemon Black & White first hit UK airwaves in February 2011, leaving fans disappointed – not because it wasn’t good, but because there were only two episodes. Now, UK fans can rejoice as we can expect to see Pokemon Black & White back on our TVs in June. Starting June 4th, CiTV will air two episodes of the new series at 11.00 am on Saturdays and Sundays bringing a whole new generation of UK fans into the Pokemon world. Pokemon Black and White is set to be the biggest change in the franchise, featuring Ash’s new design, Team Rocket’s return with a new darker tone, and brand new cities, gyms, and Pokemon direct from the Pokemon Black and Pokemon White video games. But what can we expect? Will this be a must-see toon?

Sunwoo and Cookie Jar’s Kung Fu Dino Posse to debut on CiTV

Sunwoo and Cookie Jar's Kung Fu Dino Posse to debut on CiTV

Skor has thawed out. And, of course, he’s evil. And mad. What do you do in situations like this? Call the Kung Fu Dino Posse, and put them to the task of stopping Skor and his bumbling brother from discovering the magical gems hidden through out the city. Sounds perfectly reasonable (and fun!) to us! The animated series has begun making a splash in a number of Asian and European areas, with the UK up next on it’s target list. Plans have already inked to bring the toon to CiTV, so fans there can watch the adventures of the four dinosaurs. Created by Peter M Lenkov, the prehistoric battle against the forces of evil picks up where it left off (ice) ages ago, and is produced by a team of powerhouses: Sunwoo Korea, Sunwoo Singapore, Optix Entertainment, and Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Vertigo Films and Novel Entertainment bring Horrid Henry to 3D

How much more horridier can horrid get in 3D? Well, there’s only one way to find out! Vertigo Films and Novel Entertainment are working together to bring Horrid Henry to the big screen in 3D. There have been eighteen titles published in the Orion Books series about Henry, a creation of Francesca Simon and Tony Ross, and now the Novel franchise is hitting theaters in a live-action movie. The film will share many similarities with the CITV cartoon series, keeping all of Henry’s personality in tact. …maybe that’s not such a good thing!
