A new advert has been released for the 2014 edition of the 2008 film One Piece: Episode of Chopper + Fuyu ni Saku, Kiseki no Sakura (Bloom in the Winter, Miracle Cherry Blossom). UK’s Passion Pictures has just released a new commercial titled ‘Gladly Tuesday,’ a new commercial created by Boston advertising agency Hill Holliday for Bank of America, directed by againstallodds via Passion.

The 30 second spot features the voice of Will Arnett and a style remniscent of the 1930s-era Popeye cartoons. It stars classic Popeye characters Bluto, olive Oyl, Wimpy, and Popeye himself as the functionality of Bank of America’s mobile banking app is demonstrated:

New Commercials for Namco Bandai’s Space Dandy-Inspired Galaga

Namco Bandai has just released a couple of new promo videos for a brand new space shooter game for iOS and Android devices titled Space Galaga. If you’re only familiar with the original 8-bit shooter, you’re probably thinking that the name is a little bit redundant, because the original Galaga is set in SPACE, so what did they add that it now requires the “space” prefix?

Live Action/CG-Animated Ad for A Link Between Worlds

Live Action/CG-Animated Ad for A Link Between Worlds

Nintendo has just released a new live action/cg-animated commercial for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. The commercial, despite being sleek and all modern-like, feels like a throwback to the 90s when commercials for toys and videogames were cheesy but fun.

The commercial features a normal looking guy (which you’re supposed to relate to, I guess) traversing one of the dungeons in A Link Between Worlds and using some of Link’s new skills in the game, including the ever nifty ability to turn 2D and pass through obstacles and narrow openings. New Kia Soul Commercial Features Hamsters Getting in Shape

VFX Company MPC has recently joined forces with David&Goliath and in order to produce a new promo video for Kia promoting the all new 2014 Kia Soul, providing a much-needed update to its lovable hamster mascots. Directed by David&Goliath executive creative director Colin Jeffery, much of the VFX and finishing on the spot was handled by MPC.

Dubbed “Totally Transformed,” the video shows the overweight hamsters going through a total fitness makeover, which includes everything from gym to pool sessions and even the barbershop, mirroring the efforts of a Kia engineer trying to perfect each element of the new Soul in a faraway lab. The dual makeover plots eventually converge in the final scene, where the newly improved hamsters now ride the flashy new Kia Soul on a red carpet.
