In order to celebrate the release, we’re running a cool contest giveaway for Clarence: Mystery Piñata, consisting the Clarence: Mystery Piñata DVD along with a whole bunch of goodies from the Piñata itself.

The Clarence: Mystery Piñata DVD isn’t exactly growing on trees so we only have room for one winner and 2 runner ups.

The two runner ups, on the other hand, will forever have to live with the shame of not being picked as the lucky winner BUT OF COURSE WE’RE JUST KIDDING. The Two runner ups might not be as lucky as the grand prize winner, but they’re still pretty lucky because they will each get (1) copy of the Clarence: Mystery Piñata DVD.

So what do you have to do to get a chance to win? EASY. Besides being lucky (bust out those four leaf clovers and start throwing horseshoes over your shoulders), you need to:

Dave and Busters Launches New Game Contest

davebusters

Arcade Gaming isn’t exactly Toonbarn’s primary topic of coverage, but as you can see from our Games section, and frequent coverage of games based on hit cartoon franchises, we’re also big, big fans of videogames in general. So even though it’s not toon-related, we felt compelled to point Toonbarn users who are into gaming towards Dave & Buster’s newest contest, mainly because there’s only 3 weeks left to enter.

Dave & Buster’s new contest hinges on one simple question: what’s your big game idea?

Together with VH1, MTV, and Comedy Central, Dave & Buster’s will be taking games to the next level by giving the public a chance to come up with the next legendary game concept.

Toonbarn Giveaway: Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie Blu-Ray

cheech-and-chong's-contest

Note: Contest is open only to people who live in the US (no PO Boxes please).

I recently came across a news post revealing that 20th Century Fox is prepping a Cheech and Chong’s Animated Movie Blu-Ray, and is penciling it in for an April 23 release. Being a major fan of the iconic comedy duo, I naturally wanted a copy for myself. So that I can relive classic toker jokes like “Dave’s not here, man.”, only updated with the absolute latest in animation techniques.

In case you’re too young to be familiar with the comedic duo (Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have made numerous appearances in various films and shows since disbanding, including That 70’s Show and Robert Rodriguez’ Machete), here’s Amazon’s description of the DVD:

You’re not hallucinating. It’s the legendary toker jokers Cheech & Chong as you’ve never seen them before — in their very first Animated Movie. Catch the buzz as their most outrageous routines and laugh-out-loud lines from their Grammy Award-winning albums come to life, including “Dave’s not here,” “Let’s make a dope deal” and more. With help from a , bud-lovin’ body crab named Buster, Cheech & Chong deliver the ultimate comedy high and give you the munchies for more

So I called 20th Century Fox and demanded a free copy of the Blu-Ray.

Unfortunately, the girl who answered the phone refused to send me a copy even after I have introduced myself as “Taylor Swift.” The situation went from bad to worse and threats were made (mostly coming from my end, the poor lady on the other end was just trying to calm me down).

Things settled down when I started breaking up with each and every one of their marketing staff over the phone, followed by threats to write “a really passive aggressive pop song about it.” A really nice rep named Kelly soon took over and promised to send us a copy on the condition that it goes to the readers of the site, not me.

So yeah – You, lucky Toonbarn reader, can get [one] free copy of Cheech & Chong’s Animated Movie on Blu-Ray instead of me. All you need to do is COMPLETE THESE FOUR EASY STEPS:
